At this time I remember KN Laxman. He was the most important man who fought for the BJP in its first three quarters in Tamil Nadu. He grew the party despite many obstacles. He ran many schools. Similarly, memories of Salem Auditor Ramesh come to mind. I remember that great man who sacrificed his life for the party. Ramesh was a life-saver. A party worker was killed by anti-social elements. I pay my heartfelt tribute to that righteous man in this land.

The election campaign has started rapidly across the country. But, from the very beginning, it became clear what the intention of the Congress-DMK in the All-India alliance was. At their first rally at Shivaji Park in Mumbai, the identity became apparent. All of us who believe in Hinduism know its power. They have started the campaign as their aim is to destroy it. But this Congress-DMK alliance is claiming that this form of power is destroying spirituality and Sanatana. This can never be allowed.

India alliance members deliberately keep insulting Hinduism time and again. They are creating an ideology against Hinduism. Each and every concept is very well thought out and planned. DMK Congress India Alliance attacking Hinduism does not attack other religions. They never speak a single word against any other religion. But whenever they get an opportunity to insult Hinduism, they continue to insult Hinduism without wasting a single second. How can we tolerate and allow this?

The Indian coalition opposed the installation of the scepter, a symbol of Tamil Nadu, in Parliament. What is the reason? The scepter belonged to the Saiva Atheena Math here. How relieved my Tamil Nadu mothers would have been when 3.65 crore people in Tamil Nadu got ration for free. In Jal Jeevan project, drinking water comes to everyone in search of a home. With this, my mothers and sisters in Tamil Nadu will be at peace. Mudra scheme provides loans worth tens of crores of rupees. Tamil Nadu is leading in this. Women are particularly the beneficiaries of the Mudra scheme.

The woman power for which we have executed all the plans is the woman power that is my shield today. Women are like BJP's shield. All these welfare schemes will reach even more people in the next 5 years, this is Modi's assurance.

Tamil Nadu is a witness that the DMK and Congress in the All India alliance are degrading women. Just think of how the DMK vilified late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa when she was alive. That is their true face. That is why, when we bring the Women's Reservation Bill today, they oppose it in Parliament.
